Dining to delivery - Restaurant Business today everything about food. I would always prefer my customers grab a table to enjoy their meal. But majority of diners today want they food to be delivered front doors. As a result eateries have to preserve valuable space dedicated solely to fulfilling those orders. All hoteliers preferred customers would come to their restaurant to get much better experience when food doesn't have to travel for 30 mins. Its hotter and better while it is served on table. But today most of them expect their food at doorsteps which we have to deliver. 

Today growth in the restaurant industry comes from dining at home. Customers are increasingly ordering food from their smartphones or by calling through apps. Due to heavy discount and cash back offers the demand is growing heavy day by day. As a result Restaurant Industry is dramatically changing from sit down restaurant as well as pizza chains to delivery. Basically this leads to redesigning restaurants taking delivery into account. This phenomenon is forcing restaurant to modify menus and pick ingredients that will hold well during travel.

The restaurant revenues in last five years from deliveries have jumped 20% with over all increased deliveries by 10%. This results in huge impact for restaurants and quick service chains to offer delivery for first time to meet demand  of diners who increasingly wants everything from groceries to gadgets dropped at doorstep. To gain share restaurants needs to deliver in today's Environment as its a consumer expectation now. 

Restaurants have seen they shifts from dining to fast food, now its delivery time. Lot of Entrepreneurs are working on restaurants with only delivery and catering options. Their majority of business is from door delivery. Even their are restaurants which opened first day with doubled sale in delivery. Obviously the food in the box for 60 mins will change the taste, but still the customers want to go for it. The rising minimum wages and other regulation make it harder to make profits were as lot of restaurants trying to figure out how we can increase revenues without physical expanding their Business.
